Infant Massage Classes for Parents

Gentle, Loving Connection

IAIM classes are designed for parents and babies to strengthen the bond through nurturing touch. Babies communicate primarily through touch and cues, and infant massage helps enhance trust, security, and attachment. Our trained instructors demonstrate techniques using high-quality dolls, ensuring that only parents massage their babies. This respectful approach creates a deeper connection and provides a positive, relaxing experience for both baby and parent.

What You’ll Learn

Each IAIM course consists of at least five interactive sessions covering essential techniques and topics. Parents will learn the best time to massage, how to position their baby for comfort, and how to choose safe, natural oils. The course also includes understanding baby cues, creating a soothing environment, and specific strokes for colic, digestion, and relaxation. Every session includes informative group discussions, where parents can share insights on sleep, feeding, crying, and family life.

Classes for Every Parent

Our classes cater to all families, offering both group and private options. Group classes encourage social interaction, helping parents build friendships while learning in a supportive environment. They also help reduce isolation and postnatal blues. Private classes offer one-on-one guidance, ensuring tailored support for unique family needs. The IAIM program is adaptable for premature babies and children with special needs, providing lifelong benefits as babies grow and develop.

The purpose of the International Association of Infant Massage is to promote nurturing touch and communication, through training, education and research so that parents, caregivers and children are loved, valued and respected throughout the world community.
