Attend a 4-day intensive course designed to provide both practical and theoretical knowledge of infant massage instruction. The training includes hands-on demonstrations, discussions, and research-based learning to help you develop the necessary skills to guide parents. This structured program ensures you leave with confidence in teaching techniques, infant communication, and the importance of nurturing touch.

Course Structure
The training consists of both theoretical and practical components, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience. You will learn massage techniques, the science behind infant massage, parent communication skills, and how to create a welcoming class environment. The training also includes guidance on presenting talks and educating health professionals about the importance and benefits of infant massage.
Certified Title
Graduates of the IAIM training program receive the official title of Certified Infant Massage Instructor (CIMI). This prestigious and internationally recognised qualification is a registered trademark of IAIM, ensuring that only trained professionals may use the title. As a CIMI, you will have the credibility and skills to teach both group and private infant massage classes, helping parents build strong, loving relationships with their babies.
Upcoming Training
Select from multiple training sessions throughout 2025, available both in-person and via livestream. Courses take place in Pretoria, Cape Town and livestream, accommodating those who prefer flexible learning options. Training dates are structured to provide maximum engagement and interaction, ensuring that all participants receive the best possible learning experience while preparing to become successful instructors. We do not encourage livestream training although we offer it.
